Beautiful cottage on a fabulous resort. We were really happy with the comfort and cleanliness and felt very much at home. Location is fantastic for all coastal trips and the walk from the cottage to the bay/ beach is a must - the beach is stunning!! Massive thank you to Heather for keeping us informed and for making our stay perfect Highly recommended

Fancy a break once the kids are back at school? We have availability in September and October. Friday/Night Saturday nights £140 per night, all other nights £130. Min stay 2 nights and great discounts for 3 or more nights (the more nights you stay the bigger the discount!!

We've had some fabulous guests stay over Easter, here are some of their reviews.......

Collie cottage is a beautiful place to stay and Heather and Fred are brilliant hosts. The cottage is well maintained and kept very clean, the hosts were attentive and very accommodating to our needs. We would definitely return and recommend this cottage and location.

Attentive host but non-obtrusive. the place was spotless. Nice touch with gifts left by Heather. The place was cosy, looks just like the pictures and has way more little amenities and touches than is described. Will definitely be back at some point!

We loved staying at Collie Cottage, being only a short walk from Filey Bay was wonderful. The onsite amenities were also wonderful. We’d love to return, thanks so much.

As you know we love our holiday getaway and pride ourselves on keeping it in "tip top" condition! Over the years we've replaced the boiler to a combi boiler (so everyone can now have a shower without having to wait!), updated the ensuite shower room, and this month we replaced the lounge carpet.

July 23: Lovely family stay with our 2year old sonBeautifully placed for exploring north east coastline.

June 2023: Clean, comfortable and cozy accommodation - So good to have two bathrooms and 3 loos…. Very comfortable settees.
Very clean property, Heather very responsive when asking any questions helpful on response lots of information inside the property to help you with your stay. Hopefully to re-book next year.🙂
Lots of things to keep little ones entertained on site and local places not to far away. Playdale farm highly recommended only a short drive away and bridlington again only a short drive away. And lots of other things to do.
Great local beach with access from the the bay.

Here's our latest review.......Collie Cottage is the standard all hosts should aim for. Spotlessly clean with every item you could wish for at hand. We loved every second there and was a little sad to leave. Heather contact us before arrive and offered an earlier check in. Nice gifts on our arrival 😊. Communication was very fast and responsive. Plenty of parking available even during Coronation weekend. We immediately felt at home and the is a great central base to explore the east coast and North Yorkshire Moors. Highly recommended 11/10
