We are really excited to be able to walk to the beach cafe again this season . Its a lovely stroll along the cliffs or beach from the farm.

We are leaving cottages.com in November we will be moving to a new company for 2025. Anyone wishing to book a holiday with arrival date after October this year please contact us direct. Just at short drive from Moor farm at Flambrough is a large colony of grey seals . They are lovely to watch. For those of you who like big walks you can follow the coastal path from Moor Farm to Flambrough taking in the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton on the way. ( this walk is not an easy one)

A colony of Grey Seals at a popular East Yorkshire tourist hotspot. Never seen so many at once in this area.

All weekends throughout December you can park free at any East Yorkshire council carpark. I know we are in North Yorkshire but with Bridlington only a 15 minute drive away this could be useful.

Motorists from the area will be able to park for free in the East Riding district car parks during the four weekends in December running up to Christmas. The popular scheme, which the ERYC has run for the past fourteen years, will apply to all council-run on-street and off-street car parks. Pay and....

Tomorrow Bridlington will host the supersoapbox challenge. We are entering our fire engine. We walked the course tonight and that ramp is massive. We will need lots of cheering on so why not join us.

Following a rather hectic day talking to all parties concerned, we are pleased to announce that The Yorkshire Coast BID Super Soapbox Challenge will now take place on SUNDAY 2ND OCTOBER from 11am.
Now we have a few more weeks, maybe those who didn’t think they could finish their carts in time can now enter 👏🏼 All the arrangements are exactly the same - it’s just the date that’s changed. So, COME ON BRIDLINGTON....LET’S SOAPBOX!

THREE PODS OF DOLPHINS SPOTTED OFF BEMPTON CLIFFS

These fantastic images were taken by photographer James Davies at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

It shows a pod of dolphins that were spotted swimming off the cliffs on Sunday.

RSPB Bempton Cliffs said that a further three dolphin pods were seen today before north-west towards Filey.

Some useful information when visiting Filey beach.

Did You Know
When Parents or Guardians arrive on a RNLI Lifeguarded beach at Filey they can take their child/children to the Life Guard Hut or the Filey Lifeboat Station where they will each be given, FREE OF CHARGE, a wristband. The Parent’s or Guardian’s Mobile Number can be written on the wristband in waterproof ink before it is placed on the child’s wrist.
The child should be told that if they get lost they can go to the Lifeguard Hut and the Lifeguard will phone the number on the wristband.

ALL RNLI LIFEGUARDS ARE DBS CHECKED.
