WORLD RUM DAY PART 2 - ON THE JETTY
Five of Scotland’s finest rums joined me by the calm shores of Loch Earn, enjoyed neat over ice all have a depth of flavour and boldness that is perfect for that sipping rum.
Watch this space over the coming months as I finally kickstart my rum reviews on with and without mixers, and if the ‘summer’ weather continues south of the border I’m may well delve in to some warmer concoctions to create with them🤷🏼

"What a gem! Spent a weekend here exploring the loch, hills and surrounding villages. The cottage has everything you need and is in the loveliest location. It's close to Killin with a great Co-op for provisions and the kitchen has everything you need to eat very well in the cottage. "We had a peaceful and relaxing week at Tolsta. It is a lovely cottage with great views to the hills from the windows in the sun room. A large grassed garden to use if required and from the kitchen window views of Donald's magnificent garden
Plenty of seating in the living room for a family. Everything you need to make meals in the lovely big kitchen with dining table.
Donald introduced himself shortly after we arrived, it was lovely to meet him and to know he was there if we needed him. We did find the mattress on the double bed rather soft for our liking but other people may prefer that.
The road along to the cottage has the odd small pothole but nothing an ordinary car couldn't cope with.
All in all we had a great time and hopefully we will return soon. Thank you for a wonderful week!"
