As part of our Equine Conservation Project, we are collecting data on breeding populations and reproduction within Watchlist equines. As breeders, keepers, and reproduction specialists we require your help to collect this.

This section of the project aims to collect information on mares attempting to breed in the current year. The information we are seeking is the age, whether it was AI or natural service, the mare’s breeding history, the stallion used, and how many cycles were required before pregnancy was achieved.

It may be that you already have this data. If so, and you are willing to share it, we would be extremely grateful to see it.

Once the data has been collected and collated, we will incorporate it into a report covering all Watchlist equine breeds.
