I’m reaching out to share my recent experience with QatarAir and to express my disappointment. After my flight from Doha to Bangkok on 2August was delayed by 6 hours, I was assured that I would receive compensation for the inconvenience of the delay and missed connecting flights as per policy. However, despite following up multiple times and repeatedly providing all required documentation, I have yet to receive any compensation and each interaction seems to require starting anew. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with such a lack of communication and accountability. And despite the inconvenience I am now considering re-routing future flights to airports further afield where there would be a wider choice of carriers.
We expect a timely and fair resolution. I hope Qatar Air will address this issue promptly and ensure that such situations are handled more efficiently in the future.
If anyone else has had a similar experience or has advice on how to escalate this further, I’d appreciate your input.
