Ballantrae Holiday Cottages Fantastic luxury, dog-friendly holiday cottages by the harbour and along the river at Ballantrae on the south west coast of Scotland.

Ballantrae Holiday Cottages have six luxury self-catering holiday cottages for between two and seven people on the coast of Scotland on the edge of the friendly village of Ballantrae in South Ayrshire. There are three stone and whitewashed beach cottages situated right on the sea front with wonderful views out to sea and four riverside cottages on a quiet country lane that winds along the River St

inchar. Ballantrae has a maritime climate of early Springs and mild Autumns - here you can walk, rest, relax and enjoy the many activities to be found in this wild and unspoilt coastal region of hills and heather. All our accomodation is dog-friendly and the gorgeous beach at Ballantrae welcomes dogs all year round. All the cottages are situated just off the Ayrshire Coastal Path, Scotland's long distance walking route along one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles, and are close to marked river, woodland, seaside and farm walks. The coastline is crowned with a superb backdrop of the ever-changing profile of Ailsa Craig and the mountains of Arran across the Firth of Clyde. The area is steeped in history and teeming with wildlife, including red squirrels, roe deer, otters and seals and is a haven for bird watchers on the moors and estuary. Ballantrae and the surrounding area have plenty to offer and you will be able to tailor your holiday to meet your needs, whether you wish to relax and escape or have an active week, we are sure that you will be able to find something to suit you.

No flowers please.

The Kings Arms will be open from 9am.

The Holiday Cottages are operating as normal so please don’t worry about your upcoming holidays.

** LAST MINUTE CHRISTMAS AVAILABILITY ** Shore Cottage has just had a cancellation over Christmas from 21-28 December. It sleeps four and is the perfect place to spend a relaxing Christmas with long walks on the beach and a wood-burning stove to curl up by. Do get in touch if you're interested, a shorter break may also be possible.

You could be here sitting above the gorgeous Castlehill watching the sun go down as you sip your cocktail... Due to some last-minute cancellations we now have availability for the next three weeks, do get in touch for some great discounts. Castlehill, sleeps 10 and is the perfect place for families to get away and enjoy a wonderful relaxing break. You are a 10 minute walk from the centre of the village and the beach just beyond. There is lots to do locally with Culzean Castle & Country Park, 7Stanes Mountain Biking and The Quay Zone, Girvan all local and great for a family day out.
