A Glasgow tradition

In Scotland, Halloween is celebrated with a mix of ancient Celtic traditions and modern festivities. It has roots in Samhain, a Gaelic festival marking the end of harvest and the start of winter. People carve turnips (or now pumpkins) into lanterns, dress in costumes, and go guising (trick-or-treating), where children perform songs or jokes in exchange for treats. Bonfires, traditional games like apple dooking (bobbing for apples), and storytelling of ghostly tales are also common ways to mark the spooky night.

So genuine question here. How many of you are single and is dating as difficult as it is in Scotland?

You know you're Scottish when the sound of bagpipes makes you emotional-no matter the occasion.
