As a last minute treat we visited the Cliffs Pavillion Theatre to indulge ourselves in An Officer & a Gentleman. It was an incredible show! We’re so lucky to have Westend quality productions come to our local theatre. There’s some great shows including musicals, concerts and comedy acts appearing at the Cliffs. Check their website for their upcoming events.

We don’t often have the time to explore the country park, so when the opportunity arises we love to embark on a mini adventure. We walked from the cabin through the park to Benfleet, stopping at the old barge Gladys for some refreshments before heading back. There was an abundance of wildlife and wild flowers and the local herd of cattle kept us company. Beautiful views over Hadleigh Castle and the coastline beyond. Definitely a walk or bike we would recommend.

We had a great time helping with the Spring Clean Litter Pick at the country park.

It feels great to give a little back to the park that gives us so much everyday.
