COACH HOLIDAYS

Dear All.

After 30 years of providing and operating tours around the UK, Ireland, Europe and as far away as New Zealand and Canada we are sad to announce that it’s time for us to put or suitcases away!.

As the travel and hospitality industry struggle to recover from the results of covid, we feel that often the product and service offered post covid, by hotels and attractions does not match both our and your expectations therefore we have taken the difficult decision to end our years of touring. 2022 will be our last season operating coach tours, the current 2022 Tynedale Group Travel brochure will be our last, culminating with a Holly and Mistletoe break to Llandudno and the Tynedale hotel, one of our most popular hotels, departing on 11th December.

Over the years we have met thousands of customers who have become friends and we have worked with some amazing suppliers and business colleagues. A special thank you to the staff who have joined us along the way as none of it would have been possible without them all. A special thanks also to Peter who has covered thousands of miles over the past 15 years and we wish him many more miles in a happy retirement.

The Tynedale brand and company will still be present on the road as our company grows from strength to strength offering VIP travel to the North East’s sports teams and corporate market, with a million pound investment seeing the delivery of new vehicles to start long term contracts from August 2022 onwards.
Finally on behalf of us both, thank you all for your support and custom over the past 30 years it has truly been a privilege with wonderful memories which we will look back on proudly. We do have several tours remaining in 2022 with limited availability where we would love to see you onboard.

During some very dark days of Covid lock down in 2020 , locked away in the office together Cath and l found the original paperwork from our first bank loan to buy a business (age 24hrs snd 20yrs). Can’t imagine modern day banks allowing that anymore !

Not knowing if we would survive to the end of that week or month due to Covid lockdowns we wrote the date 3rd July 2022 on the office wall and said - that’s what we are aiming for 30 yrs. Todays the day and thankfully we did survive and grew stronger as a company and individuals.

Many other companies were not as fortunate as us and our thoughts go out to them. But if we have learned anything it’s to celebrate the little wins in life as we don’t know what’s around the corner.

So today we will look back and say thank you for 30 years, to the amazing people we have met and friendships formed around the world, to the amazing staff over the years who have made the company what it is and to customers who have supported us over the years, and sadly think of those no longer with us and raise a glass. L

‘End of season - number 13’ What a last weekend with promotion for Sunderland AFC at Wembley, Premier league status confirmed for Leeds United and a win on the road for Newcastle United.

It’s been our busiest year on record and along with dealing with covid one of the most challenging. Can’t thank our amazing staff enough along with the many coach company’s suppliers in the industry working together to make it happen.

Its time for everyone to take a rest, but we look forward to starting all over again in July. Excited to be starting new 5 year contracts with our Premier League teams and an investment of £1.3million in new team coaches.

Delighted to be ready to welcome Lee University, Tennessee back to UK shores after a break of nearly 2 years. Their 2022 group arrives with us this morning and will be studying in Cambridge and travelling throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe until early April. Our 18th year for the programme. The sun is shinning in Cambridge ready to welcome them. get travelling again
