✨ What a transformative year 2024 has been for Treehope Travel! ✨

This year has been all about venturing off the beaten path—exploring remote corners of Nepal, revisiting treks from my 20s, and connecting with inspiring local projects and initiatives. Climbing above 5000m three times (and hitting 4954m once!) has been a humbling reminder of the power of the mountains and the incredible people you meet along the way.

Beyond Nepal, I've refreshed my Rescue Diver PADI certification, cycled 500km across Sri Lanka, and spent 10 days volunteering in the human-elephant conflict zone.

Most excitingly, Treehope Travel has set up a YouTube channel and officially launched as a tour operator. Today our website has gone live! With our own bespoke trips and the option to create personalized itineraries across Nepal, we’re committed to fair wages, sustainability, and authentic travel experiences. The Travel Agency side will be completed soon as we continue to work with partners with a heart for immersive, sustainable travel.

It’s been a whirlwind year of hard work, discovery, and growth—thank you for being part of this journey. I’m so excited for what lies ahead in 2025. Let’s keep exploring and remembering to

The Final Days
Annapurna Circuit Trek

We left our beautiful location at Hille and headed on a short 5 km walk to the small village of Nayapul.
Walking along the soothing sound of the river, butterflies and Cicada happily chirping, we arrived at check post, leaving the conservation area of Annapurna behind. We jumped on the minibus and a little later said goodbye to our lovely trekking crew SuKu, Dal and Sunil - (thank you all so much 🙏🏽🥰)
We headed on to a luxurious hotel in Pokhara to rest, shop and at sunset paddle across the famous Phewa Tal soaking up the calm of the waters from the lively lakeside and enjoying mountain views in the distance.
The following day we headed back by minibus to Kathmandu, enjoying a feast of Newari food and local Chyang (made from fermented rice), before a long nights sleep and farewells to the group.

What a wonderful morning with F&F cycling Group handing out the awesome masks they sent via Treehope Travel to some of the womens cycling groups here in Kathmandu!
Thank you to everyone who made this such a memorable morning! I hope we can get some more sponsorship for both men and women's cycling in Nepal - a hugely important factor towards improving the environment and the physical and mental health of all who participate!
