Some great feedback about one of our engineers who started at PIP as an apprentice. It’s great to see how he is progressing now as an engineer.

Face to a name Brian Palfreman, Business Development Manager.
With Brian working in the Lift Industry for 22 years, we asked him 'Whats the biggest change you have seen in the industry over the years?'

Brian's response was "From my point of view, Technology to carry out Surveys.
Gone are the days of pen and paper which we had to do surveys with, that was hard work, and now we have Phones, Tablets, Laptops to do this for us, and make life easier."

Congratulations to Paul Masterson and Ron Adams.
This summer these two have a combined 100 years in the industry, they started their apprenticeship together in 1973. Ron with Marryat & Scott, Paul with The Express Lift Company. Both now at pension age but still going strong.

Great feedback from lift consultant on a working progress project.

“PIP Lifts have made good progress since the project commence 6 February 2023. The level of workmanship is of a good standard, as is house keeping around the work and storage areas. After reviewing PIP progress against the schedule of works PIP Lift are slightly ahead of programme leading into the final phase of works and testing period. We expect all lift works will be complete as per programme.

During my attendance we liaised with the Building Manger who offered very positive feedback for PIP Lifts, their onsite team (Engineers and Project Manager), regarding their work ethic, manner, and professionalism. Always nice to hear such positive feedback from the onsite NHS team.”
