Let’s play a little game of “This or That”!
What travel do you prefer when travelling in the UK, Train vs Plane?

🚂 Our thoughts on train travel:

If you travel by train you can travel centre to centre, as train stations are centrally located whilst airports are outside the city.

You also have the extra leg room and you can walk around, like a good stretch.

If you travel by train, it is more environmentally friendly. You can see more and discover the various landscapes of the country itself.

The baggage restrictions are more flexible.

You can even bring your own food and drinks, yay for snacks!

✈️ Our thoughts on plane travel:

If you travel by plane, it is the quickest mode of travel when travelling long distances.

It is affordable. Flying between cities can often be cheaper than travelling by rail.

The joy of flying! Who does not love travelling above the clouds?

It gets you out of your comfort zone.

Within a matter of hours, you can arrive in a new place with very different weather, economy and culture.

Cultural exchange. It is a good learning experience to be able to meet people from different cultures.

You see life with new eyes and you gain a new perspective too. Both options support group travel which is a win in our books, but we prefer to stick to trains to play our bit on the environment.
