Are you ready for the brightest night of the year? The Helston Christmas Light Switch-On is back on Friday, November 24 with brighter lights, epic festivities, and a night to remember! 🎄

Traffic Alert: Meneage Street and Coinagehall Street will be closed 3.40pm - 10pm. Need a ride? Taxis at Monument Road and by the VW garage got you covered!

Entertainment starts at 6pm with the Kerrier Male Choir, Cornish Roots at the Guildhall, and Helston Concert Band in Meneage Street! 🥁

AT 7pm Helston Town Band will take the stage, setting the tone for the grand switch-on at 7.30pm, and Rev Danny Reed will be warming up the crowd!

They’ll be hog roast, burgers, crepes, wraps, cookies, chocolate churros, hot jacket potatoes, and doughnuts to keep everyone fed and happy. 🍩

Dogs restrictions on St Ives designated beaches this year.

Porthgwidden Beach: 1 July - 31 August. Not allowed 10am - 6pm

Porthmeor Beach: 15 May - 30 September. Not allowed 10am - 6pm

Porthminister Beach: 15 May - 30 September. Not allowed 10am - 6pm

St Ives Harbour Beach: 1 July - 31 August. Not allowed 10am – 6pm
