Cadgwith Cove Cottages

Cadgwith Cove Cottages The Lizard peninsula, the most southerly part of mainland Britain, might have been deliberately designed as an ideal holiday destination.

Within just a few square miles it offers sandy beaches, spectacular cliff walks, unspoiled fishing coves, thickly-wooded creeks and inlets, rolling farmland and a wide expanse of open moorland. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and you can easily see why. The climate is mild and frost is rare. Daffodils flower as a commercial crop in January and the cliffs and hedgerows are ablaze with w

ild flowers from February to June. There are spells in October and November as warm as any in midsummer. Do come to see and enjoy all that this wonderful area has to offer. And try especially to come out of season when the roads are quieter and you will have the beaches and cliffs all to yourself. If you are looking for a holiday of true old-fashioned simplicity surrounded by scenery of breathtaking beauty, then look no further. Just settle down to the problem of which cottage will suit you best

We have never seen a photo of the Minack like this! We have never seen the building on the right - presumably where the actors prepare and wait. It's definitely a wonderful place to see any theatrical production with the ocean as its backdrop.

Lovely news🎉 ‘Cadgwith Creels’ has been selected for the Christmas Open 🍾🥂 Please go and see this exhibition if you can. We’re so lucky in Cornwall to have such a large & talented artistic community, and the St Ives Society of Artists Open Exhibition always showcases what this area has to offer brilliantly. To be included is always a huge honour❤️

Just in case you were going to Lizard Point. Unfortunately the Polpeor cafe (also at the point) is closed at the moment until new ownership is found.

☔️Morning all! We have decided to close today due to this strong wind and heavy rain.

🙏Being located right on the side of a cliff we feel it’s just not safe for our staff or customers today. We hope you understand.

☀️Apparently it’s sunny tomorrow so we shall be open as normal 10~ 4pm (3pm last food orders)

Beautiful even one cold….

A circular walk from the white sandy beach at Sennen Cove along the towering granite cliffs via Land's End to the song of the sea cave at Nanjizal. The best way to see Land's End.
