We are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious road traffic collision on the .

The incident occurred at around 10.10am yesterday (Monday 21 August) on the southbound carriageway between and .

It is believed up to six vehicles were involved in the incident, including a white Mercedes tipper HGV and a black Peugeot.

The three occupants of the Peugeot were taken to hospital. A man and a child, whose injuries are not described as life-changing or life-threatening, were taken to hospital by road.

A woman, meanwhile, was airlifted to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

Sergeant Alex Ward, from the Road Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.

“If you were driving in the area and have a dash-cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to assist our investigation."

* A 44-year-old man from Ilford, Greater London, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody at this time.

Eastbourne Airshow

Eastbourne’s Airshow is held on the seafront. The aircrafts can be seen from the Sovereign Harbour on the east through to Beachy Head on the west. See the RAF Red Arrows, Team Raven, Wing walkers, The Tigers Parachute display team, Norwegian Vampire, Typhoon, The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight plus many more. There will be a military village and trade stalls, the Airshow starts at about 1pm. The town is a short walk from the beach if you wish to do some shopping.
Its set to be an incredible day, it is one of the best Air Shows in the UK.

Whitstable

Despite the lack of sand, Whitstable is still a fantastic spot. It represents the best of the traditional British seaside, not piers and donkey rides, but quirkiness and charm. There are beach huts, weatherboard cottages, and fishing boats pulled up on the beach and the Neptune pub sits practically on the beach. There are a few other places to grab a bite to eat along the beach too, including the Whitstable Oyster Company restaurant if you fancy something a little upmarket. Once known as Tankerton Towers, Whitstable Castle is really a vast home built for the Pearsons family in 1790’s. Today you can take afternoon tea or simply wander around its well-kept gardens and manicured lawns. A quintessentially English experience.

The Isle of Purbeck offers many sports and activities from a relaxing walk in the county side to cycle routes for all abilities and for the more adventurous rock climbing and water sports.
Ride the heritage railway with the 6-mile-long line which joins Swanage, Harston Halt, Harmen’s Cross, Corfe Castle, and Norden Park & Ride, the railway follows the route of the old Purbeck line.

Bournemouth Air show

With the new seafront al fresco bars and restaurants, perfect for watching the air displays. Located on the beach is the Royal Navy Village where you can meet members of the services alongside a variety of service charities, that help to support serving and former personnel and their families, and interactive attractions and demonstrations. You can get up close to an array of current British Army equipment, such as the Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank ! The Airshow starts early afternoon and you will be able to see a range or aircraft such as the Red Arrors, RAF Typhoon, The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – “Lest we Forget”, RAF Chinook, wing walkers, Spitfire and many more.

You will be working with a experienced mechanical engineer, in our inside work shop with plenty of storage for tools.
Our mechanics are the backbone of our business and are required to diagnose, repair and service our vehicles in house. We are looking for a technician to contribute towards the success of our business.

Requirements:
· You will be required to carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
· You will be required to test and diagnose faults
· You will be required to examine our PCV Coaches, recognise and provide a written report on vehicles on defects or system impending failures.
· You will be required to ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of yourself and others working around you.
