Anita began her volunteering journey as she approached retirement, inspired by the nearly seven years her mother spent at St Leonards. She cherishes the home's warm, family-like atmosphere and finds joy in entertaining residents with poetry readings and music.
One special memory is of a resident who, though she couldn't speak, would laugh along with the poems. For Anita, moments like these are incredibly rewarding. ❤️
