I had a bit of a slow down on the crafting front last week, as I stupidly attempted to trim a woody hedge and got a twig in my good eye ( I am blind in the other eye !) Wowsers I had forgotten how incredibly painful an eye injury can be …..it is much better now after liberal dosings of medicated eyewash and very strong painkillers….after a couple of days I was able to do the knitted part of my large chickens. Over the weekend, once my eye had stopped watering continuosly, I managed to finish these three chickens.
These are now available on my shelf in Collaborative Crafts, and I am in the
process of adding to their flock this week…in a multitude of colour variations.

Hello, my first few sets of baby beanie hats & matching booties are now back in Collaborative Crafts, to keep your little ones cosy and warm.
These can be bought as a matching set for £16….
or individually,

I seem to have rather a purple theme going on here..there will be more colours coming soon !

Hello, today will be the return of the Ginger Cat charms to Collaborative Crafts, this time they have two new cousins..Halloween cats !
What do you think?.. black cats are normally associated with Halloween, but these orange & black stripey ones would also fit well with Halloween decor.
I have been knitting a big batch of “Marmalade”cats, so there will be more versions to follow soon.

Autumn Crochet Tote Bag and four more black faced Crafty Sheep to join the rest of the flock.
Next up will be some crochet rainbow bunting which is almost finished.

Hello all, are you starting to feel the Autumn chill in the air ? We are certainly noticing it here in Herefordshire. This batch of children’s beanie hats, sizes from 0-6 months up to 5-10 years are now available at Collaborative Crafts, along with the adult/teen hats & mittens.

Good afternoon, I thought that I had scheduled this post last night..but it has completely disappeared…so attempt number 2 !

I managed to injure my hand 10 days ago, just by throwing something into a cupboard and banging my hand on a sack of dog biscuit ( the ongoing joys of hypermobile joints ! ) By the next day it had swollen massively, so required a trip to A&E for an XRay….luckily it wasn’t broken, just a sprain, but unluckily for me, I couldn’t crochet for a few days !
I had previously made these little mice, who were just in need of eyes and noses, so managed a bit of very slow sewing !
Since then, I have made a splint to go inside the double tube bandage ( holding the sprained little finger against the next one, which keeps the joints still) …so I am now able to pursue my crochet addiction..although slowly and for short periods only. It is also quite difficult to regulate the tension, without the use of the two last fingers…which plainly play a much bigger part in crochet than I had realised !
Still much better off than last year, when I fractured my right arm, as this is the left hand, but I will be happier when it heals and I can get back to my happy creativity.

Hello, as it is much chillier today, these little mice are snuggled up together..awaiting their journey to Collaborative Crafts tomorrow.
They each have a strong metal swivel clasp , so can be attached to school bags, handbags, key rings, pencil cases or rucksacks.

Good afternoon, just popping in today to show you my new flock of Crafty Cuddly Sheep, which have made their way onto my shelf in Collaborative Crafts today. These can be used as pin cushions or as a little friend for your desk or dashboard. They will have more friends joining them soon, with metal swivel clips to attatch to your bag, keys, pencil case or school bag.

Good morning, from a not very Summery Kington. Today is grey and wet after a proper Summer’s day yesterday.
Here is a little snippet from my shelf in Collaborative Crafts..with the cotton eco wash cloths, buntings & cotton sunhats…which due to the lack of hot sunny days haven’t sold as fast as previous years. There have been rumours of a hot sunny spell at the end of this month, so I will keep them there for a bit longer before swapping back to the baby beanie hats !

Hello, just thought I would pop in and say that I am still here lurking in the background of Facebookland ! My health, and particularly exhaustion levels are still rubbish, so I have putting all my energy into crocheting things for Collaborative Crafts. This is the updated selection of colours of my Eco cotton washcloths, now back in stock, with the Pistachio green and pink ones to follow this week.
I have also made progress in learning to crochet bunting, so hopefully some pictures of those to follow soon.
