The Geese are here.... Must mean it's officially autumn. In this corner of the world, these noisy fellows arriving from Russia, siberia and colder climes tell all that know... That autumn is here.. (along with the rutting deer).. These little moments are deep ingrained in us, it's memories of childhood which will carry us through. It's nature doing nature whilst we just remain the bystanders xx

W O O D S // the little four legged one and I wondered through the green bath that is 'Witton Woods' - a windy drive from the cottage but an oh so delightful treat when you're in need of a bit of tree healing. We highly recommend venturing out and wondering the woods when staying at the cottage + If you're a cold water swimmer then there's a great swim stop nearby too! 🌲🌳🏊

Not by the sea, but its by the water! Our little cottage by the sea is also perfectly situated to explore the Northern reaches of the Norfolk Broads National Park. We sauntered off to this weekend for long riverside walks to take in the sound of our first cuckoo of the year!! ☺️ Take in a few classic broadland scenes (sailing boats stuck in Reed beds)!! ### it's about a 20 minute drive from the cottage and definitely worth a visit if you're in th mood for some bucolic air xx
