“WOW! Where do we even begin? What a stunning and spectacular place New Thornber is. Not only is the house beautiful on the outside but beautiful on the inside too. There had quite clearly been no expense spared, the beds are the most comfortable we have slept in, which after all of the walking we have done was a real luxury. The views are quite simply breathtaking, we have visited from a city and it has been a real treat to wake up to these views. It has been a pleasure to stay at New Thornber and have the weather that we have had. We shall definitely look forward to coming back. THANK YOU 🖤”

The first bluebells of the season are appearing in the garden and it’s got me reminiscing about the bluebell walks we did last year 😍 one of the best bluebell walks in the Dales is Oxenber woods above the village of Austwick. Have you ever been??

I’ve been making the most of this warm sunshine we’ve had all week, it really has been glorious, perfect for tackling so many outside jobs ☀️🌿 The garden at the cottage has sprung into life just in time for our guests arriving this afternoon!

The blossom trees we planted a few years ago in the cottage gardens are just about to bloom and I can’t wait to see them looking as beautiful as last year 🌸 (pic’s from last year 📸)
