The day was devoted to our core values of reliability, efficiency, and safety.
We reviewed our safety practices, introduced new measures, and reiterated the importance of vigilance in our daily tasks.

We’re proud to share the completion of our volunteer project with Balfour Beatty at SET (Community Southwark )!

has revitalised the site, providing a wonderful space for their fantastic initiatives.

SET supports artists and the community with affordable studios and diverse events, fulfilling their charitable objectives: ‘for the public benefit, to promote, improve and advance education in, and appreciation of, the arts.’

We're excited to have volunteering with Balfour Beatty at SET (Community Southwark ), a fantastic local charity near our project in Peckham.

Our team has cleared the site and are building raised garden beds enabling access for all.

SET is an amazing arts and community group with centres across London.

Our HSQE Manager attended Colas and Colas Rails “Journey to Net Zero” conference yesterday at the Black Country museum. A very thought provoking day where Colas clearly defined their corporate journey towards net zero and impressed with their commitment to support their supply chain in tackling scope 3 emissions reduction..

completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Friday! Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, all in one day and under 11 hours – monumental effort to raise money for a worthwhile cause.

This September are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.
We are hoping to raise funds to purchase and install a defibrillator on the outside wall of our head office for the local community. The Yorkshire Three Peaks is roughly 24 miles, 5,200ft ascent and the aim is to complete it within 12 hours.

On Friday RES held a companywide safety standdown day.
This allowed us to come together and discuss a wide range of topics including National Electrical Safety Awareness, Mental Health, PPE, Plant, Alertness Management, Training, Health & Wellbeing, Work Related Road Risk, and we also threw in a game to demonstrate the importance of attention to detail.
An open forum to encourage communication at all levels from our new apprentices to senior management.

New Bollard Lighting installed at Holyhead North Carriage Sidings.

RES secured a full Design & Build package from Balfour Beatty Rail to deliver all electrical works associated with the walkway including bollard and bulkhead lighting and the provision of a new DNO supply.
