🥶 another cold start again this morning, but happy opening day!

Anyone coming today, please do travel carefully!!

😁 With 1st March just one night sleep away 😁

Here’s a couple of handy reminders!

WATER
- Before opening main water tap up, go inside your Holiday Home and close make sure ALL taps are CLOSED!
- Carefully OPEN main tap, and only open it a quarter turn.
- Go inside & individually check all taps and toilets for any bursts and open each tap.

GAS
- IF you turned Gas OFF, Turn both bottles back on.
- Go inside your Holiday Home & purge Gas through on Gas Hob (this may take 10 seconds or more) this is to ensure Gas is running clearly through the system.
- Switch Boiler ON.
- Once Boiler is running, go around & run hot taps to make sure Hot Water is working
- by this point your radiators should be coming warm, always worth checking radiators for any leaks

Whose looking forward to the 2025 Season?!

Fingers crossed for some nicer weather this year!

Visiting caravans is allowed during closed period, but please be aware there will be work carried out around the park so cars may need to park in the overflow parking!

❌ Please do not turn on the water.

We will re open for people staying over on Saturday 1st March from 9am!

Morning all,

Pipes are beginning to thaw out in areas of park, but anyone coming up please be careful when opening them up!

- If your tap will turn & isn’t frozen, only open it slightly (quarter turn Maximum) and go around each tap and toilet inside to check for bursts.
- Please note internal taps may be also frozen, so do not force them to open if they are frozen. Just leave your heating on until it thaws

Morning everyone!

We have had another cold spell last night, -8° and we didn’t get above freezing temperatures yesterday.

A lot of pipes are still frozen, the laundry is still open for anyone wanting Hot or Cold water if you do come up.

❄️ Remember ❄️
- If your tap will turn & isn’t frozen, only open it slightly (quarter turn Maximum) and go around each tap and toilet inside to check for bursts.
- Please note internal taps may be also frozen, so do not force them to open if they are frozen. Just leave your heating on until it thaws

Please do take it steady if your coming up, temperatures are meant to be getting a little higher tonight & tomorrow so pipes should hopefully start freeing up a bit!

🥶 Temperatures are very cold here up at Ings Mill 🥶

We’ve not been above freezing for a couple of days now with the lowest being -11° and a lot of pipes are frozen under vans meaning no water to caravans. If anyone is coming up and your pipes are frozen, the laundry will be open and running both hot and cold water, but we would highly recommend bringing some bottles of water just in case!
