Alan's Historical Walks is now closed for the Winter. Thank you to everyone who came on the walks. It was a privilege to meet you all. One of the most popular stops over the Summer Season was the Blue Plaque of the author Josephine Tey. In 1990 her book 'The Daughter of Time' was voted Number 1 as the best crime fiction novel of all time by the Crime Writers' Association in the UK.

This Sunday the 21st May will be the 63rd anniversary of The Beatles playing in Church Street, Inverness as a support band. They had only been formed about 2 years and Ringo Starr was not yet a member of the band. They did not play their own songs, only Rock 'n' Roll cover versions.
