Following a very successful season with Lady Anne Wildlife Cruises 'HappySplash ' has returned to Petersport and ventured out on her first fishing charter for some very keen anglers.

It’s been great to get out of the harbour and back on the water this week on our first Lady Anne Wildlife Cruises. We owe a huge thank you to Chippie at Happy Splash - hebrideancharters, for lending us his boat while Lady Anne’s engine is undergoing some work over on the mainland, and for joining us as crew this week while Nick has been unavailable.

The boat might be different for now, but it’s still the same Lady Anne Wildlife Tour and our first few trips have been fantastic, with sightings of white tailed eagles and their chicks, golden eagles, red deer swimming between islands, black-throated and northern divers, peregrine falcons and eider ducks.

We have some amazing photos from our guests to share with you soon, but for now we just wanted to extend our thanks to Chippie and introduce you to the good ship Happy Splash.

We are now doing occasional Saturday trips and there are a couple of spaces available on this evening’s Wildlife Cruise, which looks set to be in perfect conditions, with a light breeze and evening sunshine.

Good morning all on a stunning, bright, sunshine morning here in Uist, my self-imposed Facebook holiday has ended and its time to get season ready aboard 'Happy Splash'.
Pre-season maintenance has started and sea trials will be undertaken in the next week or two with trips being organised from Petersport beginning in May this year.

Watch this space - I look forward to welcoming you aboard.
