Different hours tomorrow folks (Monday 9th) due to availability of staff etc.
We will be open from 10am until 5pm, the kitchen will have a scaled down menu and will be taking orders from midday until around 4:30pm.

The Hebridean Whisky Festival is returning with another sensory-pleasing, adventure-thrilling, island-hopping, week-long event celebrating the single malt Scotch whisky distilleries along the Hebridean Whisky Trail. The festival takes in 7 distilleries 3 of which are in the Outer Hebrides and each with their own events which include tours, whisky tasting, gin sampling, live music, ceilidhs and more! The sheepdog trials are tomorrow (Tuesday 16th) from 9am - 4pm at the Scarista Machair!

We will have Lorna’s Larder with hot food and drinks and Women Together with delicious homemade baking. All profit from the baking will be donated kindly by Women Together to
There will also be a small raffle to raise funds towards the event.

Thanks to all that came in on Saturday it was a very busy day! As some of you will be aware we were having terrible problems with the internet for some reason and it had an effect on our till systems. A substantial amount of card payments were declined (eventually) but you wouldn’t have known. Some have already very kindly noticed and got in touch with us to arrange payment. We wonder if we could ask if you could check if your payment was processed as normal.

LIVE MUSIC MONDAY NIGHT!

We are very excited to be holding our very first open mic night on Monday (8th). Food will be served until 8.30pm as normal with the music starting straight after. Come down and support local live music! We have a few folks visiting at the moment up from the Glasgow area a few of which are members of various bands and between them have played some great venues to date with dates coming up in places such as King Tuts in Glasgow. A few members of our very own staff will be involved too (not myself or Mission Control don’t worry). 😊🍻🎤

The last few weeks the ladies that bake have....... err baked, their baking can now be found not only in our own out of town retail outlet [shed] but also Isle of Harris Brewery and Harris community co-op neither of which could be described as a shed. Bravo ladies..encore
