It's another festival first!

We're delighted to have 'The Single Cask' on board as Friends of the Fèis this year, running a range of events at Bridgend Hotel and Lochindaal Seafood Kitchen and with their first ever Friends of the Fèis bottling!

ADDITIONAL SAILINGS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED FOR FÈIS ÌLE 2024!

After weeks of campaigning and hard work behind the scenes, several TV appearances, radio interviews and news articles, we finally have the result we needed to get everyone here for Fèis Ìle 2024. We have additional sailings!

Here's what's been announced by CalMac Ferries ...

Kennacraig – Port Ellen, Islay
An additional two return sailings will operate on 25th May 2024 and 1st June 2024 between Kennacraig and Port Ellen.

Also, all sailings that previously went to Port Askaig on Saturday 25th May, will now route to Port Ellen.

Oban – Port Askaig, Islay
An additional sailing will operate between Oban – Port Askaig on 25th and 26th May 2024, and 1st and 2nd June 2024.

What do I do next?

Additional sailings will go on sale next Monday 25th March at 5pm

The exact times of sailings will be announced on the CalMac website on Monday 25th March, with tickets bookable from 5pm.

We've asked for clarification about what people who have foot passenger tickets, but no vehicle ticket, should do.

We'll post this, and any other info on our ferry page on our website, as soon as we have it, this way we don't have to send out more updates to everyone.

We don't know any more details at this stage, so if you have any specific queries, you are better contacting CalMac direct.

FERRY UPDATE!

CalMac Ferries will publish the summer timetable for Islay today! Bookings for May will be available from Friday 23 February.

We're working hard behind the scenes to ensure that there will be additional sailings for the festival, and also that these extra sailings will also be available to book on the same date.

With ferries bookable from the 23rd February, we can now announce that our Fèis Ìle Committee Events, plus the Indie Whisky Fèis Ìle and more, will now go on sale from Saturday the 25th February at 5pm GMT.
