Stone Barn Farm Cottage (near Windermere) sleeps 4. Large lounge and kitchen, 2 bath/shower rooms. Last minute cancellation means it is available between 24th Feb and 10th March for any length stays - bargain price/s. Half mile walk/drive to local pub and brewery (Watermill Inn at Ings). 5 minutes to Windermere. Sorry we are not able to take pets (other than working dogs that live outside). Voted overwhelmingly by our cottage and hut visitors as the most friendly and welcoming (ie no fuss Covid safe) place to eat in the whole Lake District. Only half a mile walk from Gowan Bank Farm for brewed on site real ale and home cooked food.

World events are such that we have no holiday cottage visitors this spring but Emma Jane, the oldest cow in our herd, has done us proud - she has produced a Knight Rider heifer and 6 embryo heifers by Mwarra Mustang and Normanton 1Laertes thanks to Tom and Mark at Paragon Vets.
