Carew Castle is about 4 miles from us. It's a stunning place steeped with history and a stunning walk all around the castle and a fab 2 mile walk around the river / Castle itself. With a lovely gift shop and Mill. Close by is a small gift shop with a pub selling great drinks and food called the Carew Inn.

What a stunning weekend its been, and about time. At Hixons Holiday Home the weather has been amazing, BBQs, Chilling, Drinks with Friends and Kids have enjoyed too. What more could you want.

The new 20mph law is coming into force on the 17th September and it will mark the end of having socialism in power in Wales. Welsh Government claim to have supporting evidence stating that reducing to 20mph EVERWHERE saves lives! Yet we get flyers merely claiming that it will, and opinions from doct...

This did make me laugh pinched from another site.

Any roads that were previously 30 will now be 20 apart from the roads that aren't going to be 20, which will still remain as 30. When you see street lights you have to assume that the roads will be 20 even if the signs still say 30 because despite the signs saying 30, the roads could be 20, apart from, of course, the roads (as explained above) which will remain 30 despite them being 20. It's also important to remember that there will still be a number of roads which despite them having streetlights will not be 20, and in these cases they could be 30, 40, 50, 60 or even 70, however, always bear in mind that even if the signs on these roads still state 30 they could, of course, be 20 unless they are one of the roads that have been designated 30, in which case the 20 restriction will not apply.

I trust that clarifies. It's really not difficult.

Question for you regarding the 20mph.
Your fancy new flyer states "Most people in Wales (63%) support a lower speed limit where they live"
But what you forgot to add was that the survey only asked 1000 people out of the 3,200,000 people who live in Wales.
Which to save you the maths, only 0.03% of the population was asked....

WalesOnline did their own survey and found the complete opposite of yours (BTW they asked over 8000 people)

So, is it really correct to say "most" people support it, when you never even asked most of Wales?
