What a sad day as we say "kwaheri" to our dear Queen, Elizabeth II. A Princess who became Queen in Kenya, who dedicated her life to the Commonwealth from South Africa, who travelled extensively throughout the whole of Africa reforming bonds and making true friends. We thank you for your service. We will miss you dearly.

Every year millions of wildebeest, accompanied by zebra and antelope, move through the Serengeti into the Masai Mara and back again. To see it live is a phenomenal experience - it's there for the witnessing.

Kilimanjaro 2019 We wish all the Red Nose team a safe and successful climb in their challenge later this month. There is no doubt climbing Kili is a real test but it is totally doable and what a tick box. Good luck all.

There's a hole in my bucket ... Go on safari and have a bucket shower. As you stand outside, in the privacy of your own wilderness, hot water passes through holes in a bucket as you enjoy the majesty of your own shower. Bliss. Outside showers are quite a thing. Some more sophisticated than others but the effect is the same.

The Royal Honeymoon - Africa surely? Bets are on it's going to be somewhere in Africa but where? Top contenders are Botswana, where Harry has been involved in so many charity projects, Namibia (next door) to the phenomenal wilderness of the Skeleton Coast, Rwanda for some Gorilla Trekking and to continue Meghan's work or Seychelles for some beach relaxation (a la Will & Kate) but maybe a little too "me too". Whatever, it's looking like safari and beach - the perfect honeymoon!
