We started off by ordering our Mickey and Minnie ears from Amazon for ยฃ5.99 for all 3!
In the parks we saw lots of people wearing the same ones and when we looked in the shops they were โ‚ฌ20+ per pair so a massive saving for us there, here is the link - https://amzn.eu/d/76YLfh4

My little girl is also mad on Stitch so whilst in Primark we picked up some Angel ears which were ยฃ4 (pink sparkly one in pictures)

We never buy character clothing so on a mad dash to get them some character clothing to wear in the parks we went to Primark and found some t shirts and jumpers at bargain prices!

This made a massive amount of savings for us because character t shirts in the park start from โ‚ฌ16 and jumpers โ‚ฌ45๐Ÿ‘š๐Ÿ‘•

You will see lots of children dressed up in princess dresses, Spider-Man and Star Wars. You can pick these costumes up cheap from Vinted or supermarkets as in the parks theyโ€™re ยฃยฃ and with all the walking, running and rides theyโ€™ll be going on their costumes will for sure get snagged and dirty so be savvy!๐Ÿ‘‘

You may of seen the bottles the kids had on a lanyard we picked these up from Tesco for ยฃ4 each, one was Disney princess and the other Spider-Man. These were great for the children to just have a drink when they needed and the bottom compartment came off as a snack tub too so this kept them cool and energised on the long days without being constantly in and out of our rucksacks. We picked up some juice shots from Aldi for ยฃ1.49 each and carried one of them around to top drinks up which we could refill anywhere for free ๐Ÿฅค

The day before we went we saw it was raining quite heavily so ordered some poncho balls to keep in our bag incase there was a heavy downpour, luckily we didnโ€™t need them but we picked up 5 from Amazon for ยฃ4.99, bargain as in the parks were โ‚ฌ8 each for a child and โ‚ฌ10 for an adult. I downloaded the app and went through all restaurants and eateries to see where to avoid and where offered kids meal deals with food our children would eat. I made a list on my notes which I will add in for you of places that offered simple things like burgers, Mickey pizzas and pasta in the meal deal because I knew my kids would eat them. As you go through restaurants on the app they will have โ‚ฌ symbols to show how expensive each place is which is super helpful. ๐Ÿ•

We took lots of snacks, crisps, smoothie pouches, cereals and fruits etc to have for breakfasts and take into the park. Remember you can take lots of dried goods but no meat or dairy! ๐ŸŒ

I hope this helps anyone planning a Disney trip on a budget, just know it is doable! ๐Ÿ’ฐ

On Sunday myself my partner and 2 children (5,6) went on our advertised coach trip to DLP. It took 13 hours to travel including 1 more pick up after us, a couple of small breaks and the ferry from Dover - Calais. There was a toilet on board and the seats reclined. We packed the kids bags full of snacks, drinks, activities and iPads!
It was all very straight forward including passport control. ๐Ÿ›‚ ๐ŸšŒ โ›ด๏ธ

Once we arrived to our chosen hotel which was Santa Fe (cars themed) it was all very magical already, we stood waiting for the coach driver to bring us our room keys and park passes and we could see the electrical light parade and fireworks. We went to find the room which was in the sally block, very clean and comfortable with all basic amenities that we needed. There was a Disney shop, Starbucks and restaurant (la cantina) on site where you could have breakfast/dinner if you bought the add on meal package. We didnโ€™t but lots of people said it was lovely with a wide variety of foods and they catered for dietary requirements too. ๐Ÿ—๏ธ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿจ

For food we took a small cabin size case full of snacks, juice shots, pain au chocolates and waffles, bananas, smoothie pouches and dried goods such as pot noodles which came in handy late at night when the kids were so โ€˜staaaarvingโ€™. There wasnโ€™t a kettle in the room but Starbucks gave you boiling water without hesitation and there were various hot drink machines dotted about the hotel which you get 1 per customer for free with your room key. โ˜•๏ธ

We took snacks and drinks into the parks with us each day and bought a meal on the evening so we could sit and rest our legs and this kept everyone more than happy and fuelled for the day. We bought the kids cups which had a snack bottom that twisted off so they could snack on the go and in ques and we didnโ€™t have 1 whinge about being hungry, win!
Lots of the eateries in the parks offer meal deals, kids starting from โ‚ฌ9 and adults from โ‚ฌ16. Where you got main, side, snack and drink so brilliant value! ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฅค

We bought a few different snacks in the parks that we had seen including the Stitch and Donald mouse cakes, Mickey ice cream, waffles, donut and biscuits then our favourite was the yoda biscuit (check pictures)๐Ÿช๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿง

We spent the first day from 8:30am (using our extra magic hour) until 3pm in Walt Disney studios, avengers campus is amazing if you have marvel mad kids. Spider-Man kept popping up around the tops of the buildings. We went on Hollywood tower hotel, cars quatre roues rallye, ratatouille, cars road trip, slinky dog zigzag spin and saw Frozen: A musical invitation. The longest Que was 25 minutes for cars rallye. With the shows get there around 30/45 minutes beforehand as they get full very fast!
Whilst walking through studios we saw Woody, Jesse, toy soldier and Goofy. ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿช–โ˜ƒ๏ธ

We then spent the afternoon and the following day in Disneyland Park itself. The watched the A million splashes of colour parade, stand in the central plaza if you can to see the show as they get off the floats and do a show on the central stage. We sat in the seating area outside of the Gibson girl ice cream parlour and the kids could see everything and we got to have a rest. This is on multiple times through the day so check show times. The main parade is on at 5:30pm so get there early so get a spot at the curbside for those with littles. We went on lots of rides including Big thunder mountain, pirates of the Caribbean, buzz lightyear laser blast and star tours. Our kids are over 1.2m so could go on almost everything apart from the main white knuckle rollercoasters. ๐ŸŽข๐Ÿœ๏ธ๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ”ซ

We stayed on the night and watched the electrical sky parade and the Disney dreams show and fireworks. These were fantastic but get there very early. It starts at 8:50pm and even getting there at 8pm wasnโ€™t early enough. It gets very busy and people are reluctant to move for the children to be able to see sadly but we managed to find a good spot in the end. ๐ŸŽ† ๐Ÿฐ
