What an amazing summer season! I have been blessed this year with, I think, the perfect guests! It has been our best season ever meeting wonderful people from all around the globe, seeing little faces light up when the trains go past and I possibly had Harry Potters biggest fans stay with us, who collectively called themselves,‘Potterheads’. Thanks to my auld mammie who insists on helping me at every changeover, hubby for the grass cutting and thanks to my children for accepting the ‘pizza and chips’ dinners when I am knee deep in laundry 😂. I feel very, very lucky to play a wee part in ensuring our visitors have the best experience in our little corner of Scotland.
We are having two weeks off then we shall welcome our winter wanderers who want nothing more, than sit in front of our wood burner with a good book and stay cosy indoors while the ground outside turns white. ❤️❤️

Well, we won't be seeing this beast pop it's wee head round the kitchen table for another few months as it has retired for the winter.......Clickety though still carries on! These pics were taken by me last night in Glenfinnan (6 miles from Clickety) I’ve lived in this area my whole life and this was my first ever Aurora. It was simply mind blowing.

Found myself with an hour and a half to
Spare. I’ve landed in the middle of nowhere with a flask of coffee, a notepad and pen and utter silence. So many wonderful back roads in Lochaber to just relax and explore.

Busy two days at CCC! Who decided it would be great to paint the fence on my only two free days of the summer? That would be me. Still have some to finish (fence in the corner, thanks Jacobite for appearing just at the right time) but that’s a September job now.
