Welcoming November this year with so much positivity and excitement as it's our first annual conference in 3 years from, Friday 11th November to Sunday 13th November, where I'll be catching up with lots of my fellow Travel Counsellors, suppliers and HQ staff as well as first class entertainment and world class speakers...

10 years ago today I walked into a building on Church Gate in Bolton to start my journey as part of the most amazing community.
I had taken the leap, left the security of employment and joined Travel Counsellors to begin my journey into the world of business ownership as a self employed travel agent. I had no idea just how right that decision was but I thank the universe every day for the circumstances that made that move possible because 10 years in and Iโm happier than ever doing what I love surrounded by caring, inspirational people who Iโm so very lucky to call friends.
There have been days when I have questioned whether I could continue, especially during the last two years when sometimes it seemed like travel would never be possible again, but thanks to my wonderful customers who continue to support me I get to keep doing this amazing โjobโ of helping people turn dreams into plans and look forward to continuing to do that for many years to come.
I have wonderful family, friends and colleagues and am so lucky to be surrounded by people who support and encourage me daily. Some of whom came into my life as customers and now are people I count myself truly blessed to call friends.
I LOVE being part of the Travel Counsellor communityโฆ.. from our legendary conferences, the Directors who continue to protect and drive our business, the Head Office staff who offer unconditional support and my amazing Travel Counsellor colleagues.
This passion for travel has given me the opportunity to visit and experience places that I could only have dreamed ofโฆ hereโs to many more trips in the future!

I don't know about anyone else but it seemed so much more relaxed this year and I feel like it was a real chance to unwind and truly take time out.

I'm so excited that Andy and I have the opportunity to go and spend a week enjoying all that the beautiful new P&O ship, Iona, has to offer.
We're off to Southampton today, where we'll be staying overnight before we board tomorrow.
I'll be posting photos and videos when possible through the week so keep an eye out :)

With the annoucement of the traffic light system expected in the next few weeks, I thought it was time to plan and I am so excited to have something to look forward to!
Whilst this summer we won't be heading to our beloved Greece, Andy and I have decided to do one of the fabulous UK cruises this summer with P&O Cruises on their brand new ship, Iona...
If I'm honest, I'll just be glad to have someone else cook me dinner ;)
Whilst it won't be our usual holiday I can't wait to get onboard, enjoy amazing food, watch Broadway style shows, dance into the not so small hours (I'm too old for that now!) and see someof the beautiful British coastline to boot.
