I keep reading a lot of comments on the LoveHolidays posts about the collapse of the FTI group.

There are a lot of people upset and concerned, and one of the biggest concerns I can see is the lack of communication and people struggling to get hold of LoveHolidays for reassurance about their holiday as people have spent a lot of their well-earned money on a holiday that they have looked forward to.

I think a lot of people have forgotten too quickly that both Love Holidays and On the Beach left ABTA in 2020... the reason being that they didn't want to be forced to refund customers when things went wrong such as Covid or an accommodation supplier collapse.

I've lost a few bookings to these companies, and while I do appreciate sometimes I may come out a little more expensive than these online companies, you really do get what you pay for.

Booking with me means that you will always get hold of me - my customers will appreciate that I do work late to help them as soon as is necessary. Just last night I was speaking to a customer about a small flight time change as soon as I found out about it, another was thankful they booked with me as a quick text at 10pm saved them hours of phone calls when the hotel notified us about building work.

It's the little things... and to be fair, I usually can match or beat the online prices. On the rare occasion that I can't, there's usually a reason and the phrase "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" springs to mind each time.

I saw a few posts at the weekend stating that some airports, including Birmingham, had dropped the 100ml liquid limit.
There is still a limit in place for Birmingham departures, but they no longer need to be separated at security.
Hopefully it'll make it quicker next time you're travelling through there... looking forward to the rest catching up! ✈️💧
