Due to the current dry weather and the time of year there is a VERY HIGH RISK of hill fire - warnings are in place for the area for the next few days.

Please extreme take care not to a start fire. If you have guests please pass on this information to them.

As well as dialling 999, please report any hill fire to KFT and/or the relevant landowner -
Firebeaters are in the pier shelter.

For anyone soon making the visit to Knoydart please be aware that harvesting of sections of woodland around Inverie is currently in operation.

Please note that in the interests of safety that some of the paths in the woods are temporarily closed while harvesting operations are underway.

There is also signage in the woods.

Wednesday's craft night from 5pm ~ bring along whatever you're working on, or just pop in to say hello and have a blether.

Weekend music ~ we're looking forward to welcoming The Disclaimers back on their annual Knoydart trip, and they'll be playing tunes on Fri & Sat evening after dinnertime. All welcome to join in or listen.

Wild deer are managed across the 17,500 acres of community owned Knoydart Foundation – keeping the deer numbers low protects and enhances habitats, biodiversity and community, allowing natural regeneration, peatland restoration and native woodland expansion.

Venison is a completely sustainable source of food and income for Knoydart with all profits from Knoydart Wild Venison reinvested back into our community to provide jobs, housing and other community services. A truly ethical meat experience!
