Essential information concerning the access to the caravan park.

The road from Llangybi to the caravan park will be close on the dates given above. Welsh Water are to conduct some major repairs and some disruption to the water supply to the caravan park could occur.
Access to the caravan park will be via turning towards Llwyn-Y-Grose immediately after the Sillian turning if coming from Lampeter.
If coming from Tregaron turn off towards Llwyn-Y-Grose at Olmarch.
Diversion signs will be in place.

Our site conditions clearly advises that your caravan is to be insured though CBI Insurance Consultants, it is the only way that we know that all caravans are insured correctly.

Moorlands Caravan Park celebrated the Queens platinum jubilee with a car park tea.
Many thanks to all those who supplied the sandwiches cakes etc.
Special thanks to Darryl for decorating the caravan park and Sylvia for coordinating the food.
The best decorated caravan was awarded to Clive and Sylvia in caravan C 2 second place was Kim and Joyce caravan 20.
During the tea, a pair of red kites swooped down several times onto the bird feeder/table giving everyone a special treat.
Below are several photographs of the event we hope that everybody who attended had an enjoyable afternoon.

Apologies for the late posting, but we have encountered computer problems.
Moorlands Caravan Park will be celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee on Saturday 4th June with a Street/car park party starting at 3 o'clock all are welcome.
The entrance to the caravan park is to decorate with red and white bunting etc. we also hope you will also decorate your caravans.
Sylvia in caravan C2 has been kind enough to organise the sandwiches cakes etc please contact her for details of any shortfalls.
The club house will be open on Friday evening from 730 on Saturday the 4th of June from 3 o'clock.

We have unfortunately encountered a few problems with a swimming pool but hopefully it will be up and running shortly.

Moorlands Is a family run Caravan Park in rural West Wales.

Charity Evening for a Defibrillator
A massive thank you for your support last night (16 October) to raise money for a defibrillator.
Many thanks to those who organized the event Rose, Sylvia and Jan and many more.
A thank for all those who donated raffle prizes, auction items and the ham/ cheese rolls.

Parents are asked to ensure that their children only use the equipment / toys you have brought down for them to use not other people’s.
When they have finished using them they are put away, not left all over the park and roadways.

Following the easing of the covid restrictions on the 7th August 2021 by the Welsh Government.
Moorlands Social Club have introduced the following:
To protect vulnerable members of the family, staff and member's the wearing of face masks on entering and moving around the club will continue, together with logging in on track and trace, table service operating, no need to pre book a table. Children will be allowed into the club accompanied by an adult but will not be allowed to run around.
The small room together with the gaming machines and pool tables will be brought back into operation in the next few weeks, please bring your own pool cue's.
We will continue to monitor, review and a just as required.

The beginning of this week we had some sad news that Valerie's younger brother Roy Hudson, passed away following a short battle with cancer. He was known by several caravan owners as he started his retirement on the park and had many happy times including his wedding to LuHcille.
His funeral is to be held at Aberystwyth Crematorium on Friday at twelve and the wake at Moorlands Social Club after.

Moorlands Social Club Opening Under The Latest Covid Restrictions

Moorlands Social Club is to re-open with the following Covid guidance in place.

Opening times as advised by Ceredigion County Council:

Friday, Saturday 7:30pm to 11:00pm
the club is to empty by 11:30pm
Bank Holiday Sunday's 7:30pm to 10:30pm the club to be empty by 11:00pm.

Tables are to be booked in advance.

The maximum number in the club is restricted to 42 persons.

Entering the club, please wait to be shown to a table, full contact details must be given your name, contact telephone number and arrival time.
Table service only, orders will be taken and delivered, please be patient.
Sorry some drinks will not be available.
Payment by credit card or cash.

One way system entry through the main door, exit through the smoking area door.

Face masks are to be worn unless you are seated
i.e., going to the toilet, smoking area .
Children are allowed; however, they must sit with their parents, they are not permitted to run around.
The small room is closed.
Pool tables, darts and gaming machines are not in use.
There is to be no seating or standing at the bar.
The tables are set out two meters a part and are numbered, with seating for six people.

Doors/windows are to be left open for ventilation purposes.

This guide may be amended at any time.

Some good news for everyone in Wales. The Welsh First Minister has with caution given us the date we may open the Moorlands Caravan Park Saturday 27th March 2021 is the day just in time for Easter. Unfortunately, those who live across the boarder will have to wait until the UK Government eases its restrictions.☺️
