Our awareness courses are designed for parents, carers or anyone who feels they need some extra help with how to deal with accidents and first aid situations.
These can be arranged for individuals or groups in your own home, or you can come along to one of our open sessions in East Goscote.

Epilepsy is a condition which causes seizures and affects around 600,000 people in the UK.

Our awareness workshop is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to understand the causes of Epilepsy, recognise its’ signs and symptoms and confidently assist someone suffering from a seizure.

Anaphylaxis affects 1 in 3 people in the UK, would you know what to do to help someone in the event of an emergency ?

Our awareness sessions are open to anyone and are designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to understand the causes of Anaphylaxis, recognise its’ signs and symptoms and confidently assist with the administration of medication in the event of an emergency.

Our staff have spent many hours in this building helping kids of all ages across all Scout & Guide sections gain their first aid badges, giving them essential skills for life. To hear this has happened to them is awful, people give up their time voluntarily to provide a safe and supportive environment for local kids to grow and thrive ! If you are able to donate, however small the amount, it would be greatly appreciated 😊 if you’re not able to donate a simple share would go along way 😊

We’ve spent the last two Tuesday evenings with 1st Thurmaston Rangers helping the girls to achieve their First Aid ….. no photos as teenage girls are camera shy 🤣 but a fabulous couple of weeks helping local charities and teaching young people valuable life skills 👍 a pleasure as always ladies, thanks for having us 🙌
