We’re just back from a fantastic week on the Somerset/Devon border with the dog and horses, exploring the Exmoor national park and eating at some excellent pubs in Dulverton. We stayed in the 2 bed cottage at Stockham Farm with the horses grazing right outside the window. Hours of hacking in every direction. If you’re looking for somewhere to take your four legged friends in the UK I can highly recommend! 🇬🇧 🐎 🐾

"We have just got back from the most out of this world experience, riding from Petra to wadi rum. The whole trip was perfect, amazingly well organised and we were very well looked after. Hashem and Sameer our hosts took very good care of us. Sameer kept us well fed with beautiful food. Hashem took us on the most wonderful rides with stunning and very well cared for horses. Last hack before I fly off to Mongolia for 2 weeks 😞 I’ve had Scotty for 4 months now and I can’t believe how well he’s come along since retiring from racing. I’m really looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings, but for now Scotty can enjoy a well deserved rest!

Today saw us visiting the Step pyramid, the oldest pyramid in the world, lunch at the local stables in Abusir and then an afternoon ride before our evening departure to Luxor.
Cairo was an experience, but a bit hectic!! 🇪🇬

Land of the pyramids! We arrived in Cairo last night, and after a couple of drinks at the rooftop bar we were up early for a ride to the pyramids of Giza. We met our guide Eman and enjoyed an afternoon visiting the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum ☀️ 🐎 🇪🇬
