Mini Irish Venture: From Dublin to travelling up to Northern Ireland experiencing Irish traditions and landmarks 🇮🇪. The first of many trips across 🛫
Throw back to December 2016 where beaches were boss and festive food included scorpion, grasshoppers with peanuts, fried ant with beef and to top it off with a mega Burger King on Jesus’s birthday 🍔👌🏻. Here’s to more air miles in 2024 🛫
A year this weekend more amazing travel memories were made. Where has that 12 months gone? Meeting more like-minded people, endless of jägers, Kareoke, hangovers and experiencing new opportunities! Amsterdam to Munich, it was a pleasure 🇳🇱 🇩🇪 🇨🇿 . Here’s to more air mileage in the near future 🛫
Weather wasn’t quite at its “Peak” but a very nice change to do something different! Definitely something to do again and try different areas of this very much wide scale and popular National Park. 🥾 ⛰️
Where has the bloody summer gone? With the weather being pretty miserable, let’s bring up some bright memories….
Put a bit of a Games of thronesy theme tune on, even though I’ve not see it…yet 👀.
Dubrovnik to Athens, another positive and fulfilling experience. Going through Montenegro, Tirana, Saranda and Old town, Corfu before ending in Athens. From what was June 2022, certainly feels years have past since!
From meeting Canadians who do better English accents than me, a fellow Brit flying the flag 🏴, keeping up with another Aussie in the drinking department 🍻, explaining to a Colombian where Lincoln is on the world map, being compared to a red and white stone due to sun burn 🥵 to amazing views, creating a fan club for a €2 hat, a lot of walking, fair amount of Raki and Ouzo 🥃 , some delicate hangovers 🤕 and determination to find some chicken wings! All part of the joyous travel experience! Thanks to those who there, amazing experience once again!

Back in June 2019 Mini Traveller went to Rome for a mini city break. Somewhere that’s always been a location of interest and also partly motivated by the film Gladiator. Seeing the Colloseum was definitely one of many impressive sights seen in the travel CV.
With life getting quite overwhelming at that current time, being away solo was once again extremely refreshing. And definitely have time to reflect on things and ticking off another famous city ✅. Very similar to Athens in some ways with the history and impressive buildings. Also been to Rome? Comment your favourite parts and what made you enjoy this particular city!
During your travels, you may come across some local cuisine 🦂….
Have a scorpion they said. Will be good for you they said 👀
Bit of a throwback from my Asia trip in 2016!!
