The clue is in the name at Golden Coast Beach Hotel, which is just a few steps from a honey-hued stretch of beach that's make the ideal spot for lazy days spent soaking up the Cypriot sunshine. You're tucked nicely out of the way, too, just 10 minutes' drive from the buzzy centre of Protaras.
The beach is as big a draw here as you'd expect, especially thanks to its Blue Flag status and shallow waters perfect for swimming. And just a short wander from the shore you'll find the hotel's main attraction – a big, spacious pool that's got pride of place on the terrace. A separate kids' swim spot off to one side features a water slide, so be sure to pick a sun lounger outside the splash zone! Daily activities are organised by the animations team, with the likes of competitions, pool games and more. Inside, meanwhile, you'll find a gym and indoor pool, plus a sauna and steam bath.
The main restaurant is all about buffet spreads, with a great mix of international and Mediterranean flavours. Two more restaurants serve up a tasty mix of Greek, Cypriot, and Italian fare, so there's sure to be something that can tempt your taste buds. And with four bars dotted around the hotel, including one pulled right up to the shoreline, your tipples are well taken care of.
