"A truly wonderful home in an idyllic setting, surrounded by countryside with the River Severn right in front of you. Eco-friendly loo, excellent shower, and everything you need in the kitchen. Milk, eggs and even birthday cake for our arrival were really welcome! The owners are lovely and super helpful but still give you space, and the dogs are beautiful and so well-behaved!"

A little stroll through our meadow this morning it's establishing really well now. 97% of meadows have been lost in the UK so when we had somewhere with space it was on our priority list to get one going. Mainly yellow rattle and oxeye daisies now but loads of flowers to come.
The Hobbit house literally sits in the middle of the meadow.

The Siskins have arrived Enmasse 40 at least at the last count. I could watch these comical birds all day.
But a lovely surprise was Redpolls arriving with them a first for us.
We are currently monitoring the bird life for Montgomery Wildlife Trust. We counted 24 different species in April.
