We have had enquiries about guests bringing fireworks.
Just a reminder that we are in a beautiful location, both properties are surrounded by some rare wildlife and farm stock. We also have dogs and poultry which would all get distressed by loud bangs and noise. So I 'm afraid the answer is no, we prefer guests to chill by the firepit and enjoy the amazing night skies here.
We like to think people come here to escape the noise and pollution of the city.

Sad day here today our Gorgeous Ozzymandias king of kings passed away.
He was a legend of a cat we know he was much loved not only by ourselves but all our guests.
His party piece was turning up with a mouse or two and joining in the BBQ.
He will be sadly missed in particular by his best mate Lola Bear our lab.

We are very proud of the Wildlife habitats we have created here, the bird life is phenomenal. One of our guests a keen photographer and birder, left us a list of 16 types of bird he had spotted in just 2 days.
Added to the proximity to the osprey project, where else would you want to stay.

We love this time of year when the meadow starts erupting with wild flowers and the hedges are full of nesting birds. It really is our piece of paradise.

It's been a long winter but the garden is springing into life. Wild flowers are popping up everywhere. So many birds nesting and the swifts are back. We are really looking forward to summer this year.

Property Review

This is an idyllic place, it has a very comfortable bed, an excellent shower and everything we needed for a short break in a very beautiful and peaceful area. Peter and Sharon are perfect hosts and the eggs and biscuits were very much appreciated. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life for a quiet break in the country.

"We have just returned from our weekend at the Hidden Hollow. It was booked by myself for my husband as a surprise for his 40th. The accommodation and location was perfect. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The owners, Peter and Sharon are absolutely lovely - friendly and welcoming - offering a personal service/touch. We loved the dogs and the farm animals. The accommodation was well fitted out - with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Definitely hope to return. "
