Our 5000 acre unique rifle range facility is discreetly located in the wilderness of the Welsh Cambrian Mountains where you can shoot a variety of steel targets from 50 metre to 3km, from .22 rimfire to .50 calibre. At Orion Fi****ms Training we use a variety of steel reactive and explosive targets. Shooting steel is an unforgetable experience with instant feedback you simply don't get punching pa

per targets. The learning curve is steep and you'll be amazed how quickly you will learn to read the wind, and ballistic curve of your chosen calibre. Soon we shall be installing our new moving target system, along with aditional covered shooting areas, new and varied targets as well as investing in new rifles and scopes. Orion Fi****ms Training offers far more than the average rifle range, including incline shooting, water signature and the finest topography Britain has to offer. Our base at " Shackleton Hut" has a roaring log fire to welcome you as well as hot drinks throughout the day.

Did you know Orion now has its own shooting club? Membership of Artemis Rifle Club is open to Orion clients, and is the perfect home for your long range- or any range- rifle shooting. With steel reactive targets from 50 metres out to 1 mile, and suitable for any rifle from the humble .22 rimfire up to .338, it is the home of some of the most challenging shooting conditions anywhere in the UK. Artemis is Home Office Approved and affiliated to the National Rifle Association and therefore acceptable to the police as a legitimate club for FAC purposes. Members enjoy access to Orion on discounted club days, as well as the enormous expertise of Orion's Staff, who are always available to support and advise.

Sadly due to an increase of our lease charges and overheads, we have had to increase our daily rates from 13/01/2022. Our new rates have been updated on our website.

Obviously all days that have been booked and paid for will be honoured at the previous rates.
