🍂 This is the famous Tu Hwnt I’r Bont in North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.
Its a stunning vine-covered 15th-century cottage, a Grade II listed building. Which is also a Tea Room serving great food.

If you want see this spectacular sight, while it has it Autumn colour’s you can stay in our Historic Old Prison House we have some availability left for next weekend and October.

Time flies when you're making memories! It's been 3 summer seasons since we became the proud owners of The Old Prison House. 🎉 We couldn't let this moment pass without expressing our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have stayed with us.

From cozy nights by the fireplace to exploring the local gems around Llanrwst, it's been a blast sharing these experiences with you. Whether you came for the history, the adventure, or simply a getaway, your presence has made each day special.

And speaking of special, we're thrilled to say we've just wrapped up another successful summer season. 🌞 None of this would be possible without you – our fantastic guests who bring life to these walls. Your stories, laughter, and smiles have filled The Old Prison House with warmth and joy.

A big shoutout and massive thankyou also goes to our amazing Housekeeper, Sian. She's the magic behind the scenes, keeping The Prison House in tip-top shape and ready to shine. Sian, you're one of a kind, and we're lucky to have you on our team. From keeping things spotless to tackling any challenge that comes our way, you're a true gem.

There’s just so much to see and do around the Old Prison Holiday home.

🥾 🚵‍♀️ Lots of hiking/biking trails and if your feeling strong Mount Snowdon is not far away.
☕️ Go to the famous Tu Hwnt I'r Bont Tea for afternoon tea.
🎢 Be brave and go to one of the many Zip Worlds in the local area.
🏄 Surf the never ending waves 🌊 at Surf Snowdonia.
🏰 Or walk and take a visit to the Tudor castle where you can see the local Peacocks 🦚. You can hear them from the Old Prison house some days.

You will not be bored staying at the 5 person self catering Old Prison house in Llanwrst, North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 . When your back from your busy day, lounge around the open fire 🔥 or have a relaxing warm bath.

I know we are bias as the owners, but we and fudge always have the best time when we stay in the Old Prison home.. It’s sooo comfy and theirs so much to do without having to get in the car. It’s just relax 🥰

This is not the master suite, but it’s my favourite room
of them all. Sat at the top of the Old Prison House, amazing views from the window and oh those beams 💕💕. Not sure the Prisoners residing there 250 years ago would have had it quite as comfortable

Here at the Old Prison we are getting ready for the summer 🌞 season. Today we have had the delivery of our new mattresses. It’s all about guest comfort here. 🛌 💤

🤔 I’ll bet the Prisoners that used to reside here wished for these mattresses…

Come stay here in this stunning piece of Welsh history.
Three bedrooms which can sleep up to 5 people. With everything in it you need for a self catering holiday. Just bring yourself, friends, family and your clothes.
There’s so much do within walking distance from The Old Prison:

🏰 castle,
💦 waterfalls
🛍 shops,
🍻 pubs,
🥙 restaurants,
📿 Zip world Fforest.
🚲 electric bike hire.
But…If you need more, we are close to beaches, 3x Zip worlds, Bounce Below and Surf Snowdonia..

3 night minimum stay.
Even if you don’t have a car there is Llarnwst train station just 10mins walk away and buses to and from Llandudno and Conwy.

Want to stay somewhere where you can see beautiful views, walk to a castle and see the peacocks that live there.
You might want some adrenaline by zip lining or surfing in surf Snowdonia. Sunbath at the local beaches. The Old Prison has some spaces available over the summer to welcome you we have the following dates available at the moment:

Calling all local dog friendly Hospitality/ dog unfriendly Activity locations

I am a dog walker who offers doggy daycare - the idea having been to care for local people’s dogs while they are at work.

Ive realised though, because we live in an area so popular with tourists that lots of people bring their dog along on holiday too.

You cant take your dog on the zipline or on tree tops though, the dog might not make it up Snowdon or fancy surfing at surf snowdonia.

It has occurred to me that your clients might appreciate my service for a random day during their holiday.

I havent made any flyers yet, but I will get round to it! Word of mouth for now and sharing my page and website.

If anyone would like flyers for their guests / customers / clients to see then please let me know. Also please just make a mental note and take a look at my page and website.
