Experiencing the impressive displays of these humpback whales in their breeding grounds off Máncora, Peru was an outstanding experience for everyone! 🐋
Using the citizen science platform Happywhale we were even able to learn that one of our whales had previously been migrating to the Weddel Sea in Antarctica

🌊 Track the Whales You See on Your Adventures! 🐋
Ever wondered what happens to the whales you spot? With Happywhale, you can follow their journeys across the oceans! 🌍✨
📸 All you need to do is snap a photo of a whale’s tail and upload it to Happywhale.com. The database's smart algorithm will help identify the individual whale, and if your whale is unnamed in the Happywhale database, you can name it (with a donation to marine conservation). Just be sure to take a clear photo showing as much of the tail as possible, and for some species the head and dorsal fin are also important.
🔍 Dive into whale conservation in a whole new way and help scientists understand more about these magnificent creatures. 🌿
