It's always nice to come to a few days before Christmas. Just relax and let yourself be pampered, whether with a facial treatment, a massage and 1.5 hours of hammam, or in the spa in the various baths, etc. the selection is just great. In the evening in one of the beautiful restaurants and then for a drink in one of the bars. All of the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you and Merry Christmas. 🌟🌲🌟⁣⁣

The Provence (France) is also worth visiting in autumn, it is not so hot anymore, unfortunately the lavender is over. Today's trip went from Gordes to Avignon. At first with rain afterwards the sun looked out again. Much nicer like that. I visited the Pope's palace, Palais des Papes, the Pont Saint-Bénézet also called Pont D'Avigon. Who doesn't know the song: Sur le Pond D'Avignon. 😅⠀

Autumn is coming to Tenuta Casa Cima. The light, the colors change, pleasant temperatures and a little more time after the successful summer season. The grape harvest will soon begin, the pomegranates are ready to be picked, the figs still need a moment. It is a paradise. I'm so grateful. 🙏

In the early eighties, the oenologist Werner Stucky came to Ticino and laid the foundation for Ticino’s quality viticulture. He was fascinated by the wines from Bordeaux and the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. His del Portico Riserva 1983 was the first Ticino barrique wine par excellence. He helped almost all the newcomers get started and gave them advice and support. He produces wines that come from the gut and not from the head, that are substantial, strong in character and very long-lived. ⠀

Tenuta Casa Cima is located next to a small river and a picturesque waterfall, where we dam the water in summer and you can climb up to the back of the waterfall. Hello from Tenuta Casa Cima

Hope you are all well in this crazy time. We are back including a new website. After the death on 24.12.2020 of our dear Foundation Board President Marcel Dick, who lived at Casa Cima for years and rented out our holiday homes, we had to reorganise Tenuta Casa Cima. We have restructured the Board of Trustees. The long-time vice-president Hans-Peter Portmann is the new president and I, as a member of the foundation board and delegate, am very happy that we can open the 2021 season. In the meantime, we have had to turn down a lot of enquiries, as we have not yet been able to rent out the facilities for the given reasons.

In 2020, there was also the severe storm that destroyed a large part of our streambed and waterfall. Pictures and videos can be found on the website. We are still busy restoring everything so that our guests can enjoy our unique nature again as it used to be. But it will take some time, the damage is really enormous.

From June we will finally be able to welcome our guests again. In July we are already almost fully booked. As your host, I would be very happy to welcome you soon. Have a good time and stay safe!

Hallo von der Tenuta Casa Cima

Hoffentlich geht es Euch allen gut in dieser verrückten Zeit. Wir sind zurück inklusive einer neuen Webseite. Nach dem Hinschied am 24.12.2020 von unserem lieben Stiftungsratspräsidenten Marcel Dick, welcher seit Jahren auf der Casa Cima lebte und unsere Ferienhäuser vermietet hat, mussten wir die Tenuta Casa Cima reorganisieren. Wir haben den Stiftungsrat neu aufgestellt. Der langjährige Vizepräsident Hans-Peter Portmann ist der neue Präsident und ich als Stiftungsratsmitglied und Delegierter, freuen uns sehr, dass wir die Saison 2021 eröffnen dürfen. Wir mussten in der Zwischenzeit sehr viele Anfragen ablehnen, da wir aus den gegebenen Gründen noch nicht vermieten konnten.

Im Jahre 2020 gab es auch das schwere Unwetter, welches einen grossen Teil von unserem Bachbett und Wasserfall zerstört hat. Bilder und Videos findet Ihr auf der Webseite. Wir sind immer noch damit beschäftig, alles wiederherzustellen, damit unsere Gäste unsere einzigartige Natur wieder so geniessen können, wie es mal war. Es wird aber noch einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen, der Schaden ist wirklich enorm.

Ab Juni können wir endlich unsere Gäste wieder empfangen. Im Juli sind wir schon fast ausgebucht. Es würde mich als Gastgeber sehr freuen, Sie Euch bald bei uns begrüssen zu dürfen. Machts gut und bleibt gesund!
