Currently away in Seville 🇪🇸 my first time here and I have enjoyed it so far!

If you’re after a city break, with good weather and that’s not too commercialised I’d recommend visiting Seville.

There is a lot to see and a lot of culture, it is also home to flamenco 💃🏻

I will share some Seville recommendations soon.

The perfect pub to enjoy for beer garden weather! ☀️

The Leather Bottle recently had a revamp, however it’s always been a great spot, family friendly and the bar staff have always been welcoming.

I’d recommend to book a table outside here as it’s popular, but there is always space available for no bookings too.

Also you’ve got to try a snack from the burger van 👌

If you enjoy a tapas, love somewhere with a bit of character and authenticity then check out

We booked in quite early, pretty much soon after the restaurant was busy and I can see why it is popular.
The food is fresh and has a lot of flavour, the staff are very hands on and the atmosphere has an old school warm vibe.

We ordered: Olives 🫒 Potato Bravas 🥔 Lamb Culets 🐑 Garlic Prawns 🍤 Mushroom Croquettes 🍄 Padron Peppers 🫑

My favourite were the lamb cutlets, not fatty at all and the pesto sauce that came with it was so good! I loved how the staff in there gave us clean dishes and cutlery after eating some of the food that came up first and kept the table clean. I also enjoyed the background music and the fact we didn’t have to ask for anything

If you live local, or not too far, check out this restaurant. There is also outdoor seating, which is great for the Summer to enjoy some nice wine or sangria 🍷

📲SAVE THIS FOR: A Saturday day out plan, in East London.

🍱Book on and enjoy the bottomless brunch at ROKA, over Canary Wharf. You will find this is an all rounder brunch, it’s such great value for the amount of food you get with a welcome cocktail and bottomless wine.

Then head to the Alchemist which is literally across the road from ROKA and seat yourself on their terrace on the second floor. The music played in the background is a mix of house and dance classics, plus the choice of cocktails are great 🍸

If you fancy staying out over Canary Wharf I’d suggest to head to Pergola on the Wharf, you can have a dance in there. Or if you need to get yourself back to Liverpool St to head back home, try out the small Be At One bar in Spitalfields, it’s always a lively Be At One I find.🍹

Dinner date at Cantina Malibu, The Ned 📍

I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere when I’ve gone to The Ned, you don’t always have to dine here you can pop in for a drink by the bar and enjoy the live music.

Yesterday I did dine here though, my friend and I tried Cantina Malibu, we always tend to go for some sort of Mexican restaurant when we meet up 😄 Now I won’t lie, it isn’t up there in the top Mexican restaurants in London, however it is still nice enough for a casual date after work and also great if you fancy just a few dishes to share.

It also could be that because it is a pop-up from Malibu Kitchen which serves Californian inspired food normally, maybe that’s why it isn’t a stand out for me and I do just prefer a more authentic taste.

Anyhow we ordered:
🐟 Sea bass ceviche
😋 Nachos de camote
🥩 Birriar
🌮 Tacos

& if you are heading to The Ned you can find The Ned just off Bank Station 🚉
Check on OpenTable what availability they have for what restaurants in there, as there are a few to choose from.

If you’re not hungry, I still think it is worth popping in there for a nice drink, just to enjoy the ambience itself.

Overall I’d recommend for a catch up after work, later evening drinks, for a cosy London spot ✨

hello! 😄 here’s a bit of my life lately 🏡🩵🌦️

I have had a few chilled weeks, with annual leave to use up 👌 signed up to the gym (finally!) and working on my fitness and overall lifestyle due to a flare up! It’s finally Spring too, which is my favourite time of the year 😍

brunch 🥓 🍳 at I had the full English, great produce and presented well. However the cafe itself isn’t comfortable to sit in, only downfall 😕

Bethnal Green’s New Cosy Cocktail Lounge 🍸

You can find this bar literally just opposite Brick Lane, expect monthly art exposition events and live music on Thursdays ✨

Open from midday til late, you can pair out their drink menu with appetisers, check out their happy hour and either pop in here for a relaxing few drinks or enjoy a lively night here.

I think this is something the area needed, too many chicken shops and coffee/ bubble tea cafes are filling up the area 🤣 so if you’re in the area and fancy a nice bar check out

Special Sundays 💍🌤️🩵

Went to my sister’s first dress fitting, with my sister (obvs! 😅) mum and nan 🩵 then for a bit of brunch after at a chain restaurant which I enjoy, has something for everyone.

The hen do is already in order 😉 I can’t wait for it and the wedding 💒 and all the other special times to come!

Valentine’s Dinner at 🌹❤️✨

I was wonderfully surprised at how good the Valentine’s 9-course menu was! Normally on occasions when there are set menu’s they are never as good as the A La Carte. The menu was also a surprise so we didn’t know what we were getting until the food came onto the table.

We started off with a complimentary drink, then the courses started coming. Each dish had a strong flavour to them and they came in a great order which complimented one another.

The starter dishes were small, but were filling enough with the main courses. You can check out the menu’s directly on the website, I’ll let you have a look or try out one of their surprise menu’s. 😉

Overall the vibe of the restaurant is really relaxed, the staff are hands on and don’t waste time in cleaning your table or checking to see if you want a drink or need anything.

The decor was sleek, but still has a Mediterranean look to it and the restaurant itself is big so it goes hand in hand with the relaxing vibe, you don’t feel cramped and can enjoy a nice relaxing dinner date here! I’ll be back to try their paella 🥘 👌

Pub photo dump 🍺

The weather has been so dismal lately, I have had a few birthdays to celebrate and been to the odd nice bar but this weather 100% calls for a pub date 😄

Bring on the warmer and sunnier days I say, where we can swap the Guinness to an Aperol/ cold Peroni and the fires to beer gardens ☀️

a relaxed pub on Bethnal Green road, which features an outdoor seating area and serves up British style pub food. Attracts a more hip crowd, the pub is child and dog friendly and great to pop in for a drink or some food.

a pub I’ve shared a few times, a great small and friendly pub, which does a banging roast. Always a fun crowd, also dog friendly, as you can see this cute little pup 🐶

traditional pub over Canary Wharf, shows live sports and attracts a mix crowd. The food isn’t the best, but the pub is still nice enough for a few hours to snack, drink, catchup or watch live sports.

COQFIGHTER HAVE TEAMED UP WITH THE ROLLING STONES, CELEBRATING THEIR NEW ALBUM HACKNEY DIAMONDS 🐔🎶

I was invited down and got to try out the menu, of course with me anything spicy or chicken (especially fried or breaded) I’m there!

The Mess It Up burger had a kick to it but tasted more sweet than smoky, I loved how the meat was thigh as I find anything on the bone to be more juicy.
The bun was nice, wasn’t burnt nor too soft.

The angry bird fries were the most spiciest, however I love spice so it doesn’t bother me.
The fries with the sauce made the chips have a more sweet taste to them.

Finally, the whiskey cocktail wasn’t as smoky, it was strong but sweet if that makes sense!

overall is a great foodie spot to me, always fills a hole and never tastes greasy.

I was invited to the launch and popped down to this new restaurant in Blackfriars, you’ll find this restaurant in the 🏨 literally opposite the train station.

The restaurant is an American style diner, very laidback and ideal for food or drinks during work hours or after.

If you’re in and around the area and looking for a bite to eat, take a note of this new restaurant as I know in Blackfriars there’s a limited amount of choice and not much around there! ✨

A Michelin Star restaurant that is worth the cash! 💷

What did we order?
🐟 Black Cod

Kings Cross 📍

Located in the hotel ✨

You do feel like you take a step back in time when you are here, the look has a Victorian style to it with massive palm trees and bamboo style tiles. It’s a cross between the old world and modern day. 🌴

On a Friday and Saturday you can expect DJs, who play a good mix of classic house, dance and 80’s tunes!

The bar atmosphere is lively, but not too heaving. With the dimmed lighting it gives that cosy and chilled vibe at the same time.

You get great table service here too and nice seating as well, where it isn’t too cramped and I’d say this bar is ideal for a perfect London date night.

So whether it be you’re popping by and want to escape the madness or you want to experience a beautiful bar, book a table here! ✨

📌 SAVE IF YOU’RE A TACO LOVER LIKE MEEE 🤪

Taco Taco, is a newly founded taco restaurant. Just a stone throw away from Spitalfields market 📍🌮

I ordered the Peruvian chicken tacos, I love how the tortillas were soft and not greasy or messy. The flavour of the chicken had some kick to it but it wasn’t too overpowering.

The salsa mix was all proportionally chopped up, I sometimes find with salsa you can taste more tomato than anything but this mix was evenly chopped and it was mixed well with all flavours.

I found the guacamole really good also, it was seasoned and didn’t just taste mushy. 🤣

❗️Make sure to check out the lunch deal, which is midweek 12-3pm. You get two tacos, a side and drink all for just £10 💷

Smiths of Wapping ✨🐟

If you’ve not heard of Smiths before, well you have now! Smiths is a class seafood restaurant, located in Wapping.

You can expect a wonderful ambience, views of the river Thames and delicious food.

Whenever you are in Smiths, you can never fault the service, the restaurant is slightly on the pricier end but it’s a restaurant where you are happy to pay more for due to the service and food.

During the week they do have a set menu which is rather reasonable and you still get a lot of choice on there. This time we went for the Atlantic Cod 🐟 Dauphinois Potatoes 🥔 and Cauliflower Cheese 🧀 with raspberry jam sponge pudding (basically like a Jam rolly polly 😄)

There are also meat options on the menu if you aren’t a lover of fish and they do a Sunday roast too!

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great week! 🧡

This week I had two launches, which I popped into both of course! Here’s where they were ⬇️

The Art of Banksy Exhibition ❤️ on Regent St 📍
The exhibition which has brought Banksy’s era defining works to over 1.5 million visitors in 15 cities across the globe is now open in London’s Regent Street. I’d suggest purchasing tickets in non-peak hours so it isn’t as busy!

Next was the new neighbour bar 🍕 just to the left as you come out of Angel tube station 📍
Sister bar to the well known Pergola, a rather cool place and inspired by New York’s Soho district. You can expect comfort food, and a laidback but lively vibe. I’d say this bar is suited more for the lads, but it still a great bar if you like somewhere non-prestigious!
