Best Guinness in London? A much discussed topic with the Devonshire and Guinea Grill always pouring a plenty. Perhaps we might tip our cap to The Sheephaven Bay or Auld Shillelagh for the authentic craic.

And one of our favourites is a windy romp through Windsor Great Park to the

Hang your coat at the door and slide into a fireside table fit for a king.

Dating to something silly like 1480 the pub is a short horse ride from Windsor Castle making it an ideal location for a dangerous liaison.

Low slung ceilings, well-worn stone flags and a bijou bar make for an ideal bolt hole.

The staff are loyal and always on it, the food delivers just what the doctor ordered, and there’s always a glass of fizz not too far away when you’ve had your fill of cask.

Well, it is Christmas after all. Cheers! 🥂
