The Marsden March is a 14-mile or a 5-mile sponsored walk between The Royal Marsden hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton.

The Marsden March, launched in 2011, has now raised more than £10 million. Every single pound raised helps The Royal Marsden to continue to fund state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research that improves the lives of people affected by cancer.

The Marsden March can only happen due to the amazing support of our volunteer team. We need lots of volunteers to help on the day across a broad range of roles across the 14 mile route.

The money raised by The Marsden March is enabling The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to give patients access to the very best care and life-saving treatments. To find out more please visit https://www.royalmarsden.org/support-us/volunteer

Volunteering doesn’t have to be boring! At the London 10 Mile, we have a variety of costumes for a select few volunteers to wear during the event on 4 June at Richmond Park. You could go back in time and be Henry VIII or Robin Hood and if you love nature why not wear our squirrel costume for the day. The roles for our costume volunteers will all be to cheer on our runners who are raising money for a great cause: Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children's Charity.

Not only is it a great day out, we also have the pleasure of being in London’s most beautiful park, Richmond Park. After volunteering we have the privilege of inviting you to our ‘picnic in the park’. We have the amazing Colicci’s food festival along with live music from Beat the Banditos & The Cotton Piccadilly’s. To register as a volunteer please visit: https://goo.gl/w9Xvci or you can email us at: [email protected].
