This is thirty nine. I’m not sure what I imagined it to look like. I think when I was little, I assumed it would be in a house with children and a husband but I don’t know why I haven’t pushed for that and maybe in some ways, run away from it. Everything I’ve wanted to achieve in my life, I’ve made happen in so many other aspects. With realistic results. My career has now surpassed my wildest dreams. I have much less money and income than I thought I would have at this age with so much experience. But that’s ok because everyday is an adventure with new people and places. I still have to push very hard and work every single day on the business, which is draining but at least it’s mine. I don’t have a big enough home but I have a home that’s warm, quiet, full of my beautiful, sentimental belongings and mine. I have incredible parents, which is a gift I know not everyone has. I can travel, dance, drink with great friends and cousins. I am rich and so are you if you have even one of the things I listed above. Thanks for another great year on here and our chats xx

If today is hard for you, which I know is the case for so many of my closest friends, then remember you’re in my heart and mind. Your huge, gaping loss will not be glossed over or forgotten by me and will only push me to make my time with my perfect mum even more special and valuable. I couldn’t do life without her. For those struggling as a mother, or to be a mother, I hear how tiring, frustrating, guilt inducing and exhausting it is and I’m here to talk about it. Although not having children is a choice for me, I still feel a huge sadness so I can’t imagine how you must feel if it’s your whole life’s desire. L Y T B 🤍

I have a lot of people to thank for this weeks filming in Dubai but it will be a lot of tagging if I went through everyone and I’ve had 235 pieces of dim sum in the last two hours and about 13 hours sleep in the last six days so I’ll keep it short. and Thankyou for trusting me, hiring me and giving me work at a very quiet time of year and especially for letting me .dubai for the first time ever. Seeing a new country this year was absolutely not going to be possible and you made it happen. This freelancer with a seven slices of chuck beef slid into her kit bag is very grateful.

We are in a very quiet period for all in the TV, PR and Corporate world at the moment, at least until the new financial year starts, but just looking back on jobs like this one for I feel so proud and confident in my job. I know whatever time I am given, in however the circumstances, with any face or hair type, I will nail it. (At least in my mind anyway 😂) Bring on more exciting challenges in 2024!

I is for illuminating, which is probably my absolute favourite part of mine and my client’s makeup routines. I’m using the @aldiuk Luminous Filter. It’s NOT a foundation. Ok my little glowworms, it’s Saturday and I hope that means you are about to imbibe glorious amounts of aperol. If you are, please be aware that powder shimmers can create a really dry, textured highlight and can look very fake. E is for Eyebrows and I’ve seen many over the years and they seem to really be a sticking point for some. Less is more. Soft strokes and just gently fill them in. Day three is C. Contour is usually a grey toned, darker version of your skin (like your skin in shadow) and this applies to any race, although it may get a lot deeper with darker skin. Where as bronzer like this @narsissist is usually warmer, more red toned. Day two of the beauty Alphabet and I have @ayumakeupireland to thank for their gorgeous creamy blushers. Power blush is called for occasionally when in need to create depth or a deeply matte face but please try using a cream blusher instead of shimmer highlighter for a really youthful skin without showing imperfections.
