A 400 year old 20 acre lake, unfished for 5 years with an unknown stock of very big carp. An average size of 38lbs and the biggest caught so far 49lbs. Very few repeat captures in last 9 months.

30 carp and 4 cats landed for the 4 anglers on etang de Janine last week. The smaller fish were more active but the catch included 1 50, 2 40s, several high 30s.

Some anglers have struggled on Odyssea lake this year due to the large shoals of bream which are present.
There's been some really catches recently from anglers baiting with boilies and tiger nuts and not reporting any issues from the bream. Anglers who have baited heavily with particles and wheat have found the bream to be an issue.
Anglers in swim 1 last week had 12 carp to 41lb and an average size of just over 27lbs.
A 36 hour session from a local French angler resulted in 6 carp and 2 lost.

Trip of a lifetime! 50s, 40s and 30s everywhere!
I mean Wow! What a trip, the best I’ve ever had!! Not sure where to start with Spruce Lake. Firstly the place itself is absolutely stunning, never have i fished at a more idyllic place. The owners Mark and Allison are unbelievable hosts, especially as opted for the food package and Allison, being a chef, rustled up some serious grub! Mark did everything you want from an owner, pre baited before I arrived, shown me some hot spots and my god was they hot!! A full catch report is below but breaking my PB 5 times in one session is just unheard of. A real diamond waiting to be found this lake and will in no time be one that’s fully booked year round I have no doubt. Thanks so much for an amazing trip Mark and Allison, I will see you again in September!!

Well done to the Spanish anglers fishing swim 1 on Camalo lake last week. Baiting with 5kg of boilies, pellets and tigers per day resulted in 15 carp to 55lbs. Well done lads.

Fantastic week at Lac Lucie for father and son Dave and Alex. The trip started with a 50lb+ common on the first day and this was followed up by 3 40s and 5 30s. A great result considering they only fished days and had very mixed weather conditions.

💥🎣We were very excited to get the first catch report of the season for Etang La Cour which opened for the very first time this year. It did not disappoint!
Despite very mixed conditions the 2 anglers had a decent week managing 14 fish (3 losses). Biggest landed was 53lb with 5 others over 45lbs and an average weight of 42lbs.
Weights were: 35.6, 40.10, 44.8, 44.5, 47.6, 47.8, 53, 48.4, 28.4, 47.10, 44.7, 35.8, 33.8, 35.10.
