In collaboration with venues, festivals and clients we craft each performance with a specific context and audience experience in mind. Because we believe that a live event is only truly alive if it is responsive in
the moment, we want to uncover how and in what ways our audience can influence our work both preemptively and on the spot. Experimenting with live-construction, our own unique performance style that mashes up devised performance with improvisation, BARK builds and arranges performance live before our audiences, tailoring content in a flexible and responsive way that is specific to the individuals experiencing it. Thriving in the unknown and unplanned, we hold our audiences at the core of our work in both process and performance by consistently reconsidering the extent, meaning, and experience of liveness within a shared process of creation.
