The Cockpit, City pubs at their best. Not only is this the site of Shakespeare's house, but the name Cockpit comes from an old pastime of having rival cockerels fight against each other for the amusement of onlookers 😳. And this pub still has the balcony from where you could watch this popular pastime. Cheers to Thursday 🥂
